Representation of buyers and sellers from the initial review and/or drafting of the real estate contract to the closing and transfer of title. When representing a buyer we will work directly with the realtors involved as well as the lender that is providing the mortgage. We will review the title documents provided by the seller’s attorney, prepare the necessary title insurance policy and then work directly with the bank attorney to schedule a closing. When representing a seller, we will work directly with the realtors involved in the transaction, procure the title documents and prepare the transfer documents that are provided to the attorney for the buyer. We also will handle matters not directly involved with a purchase or sale, such as drafting deeds and reviewing title issues associated with property.
The representation of property owners appearing before local Town or Village Boards, Planning Boards and/or Zoning Boards when property owners are looking to put a shed, pool, fence or other structure on their property or use their property for something that may not be allowed or is in violation of local codes or ordinances. We also will handle tax appeals on behalf of property owners as it relates to real property tax assessments.
Vehicle & Traffic Law (Including DWI)
Representation of people who have received traffic tickets or minor infractions in local courts. We will handle the appearance and the ultimate disposition on behalf of our clients without the necessity of a Court appearance most of the time. Our office will also handle those charged with Driving While Intoxicated from the initial appearance which could result in the loss of driving privileges through the final disposition.
The representation of Plaintiffs involved iin motor vehicle accidents or what are commonly referred to as slip and falls. We will handle all facets of the case from initial consultation until trial if the case cannot be settled. Will handle all civil matters involving the representation or Plaintiffs or Defendants as it relates ot all matters where the Court of jurisdiction would be the rendering of a civil verdict.
